The man had to be airlifted to hospital

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured at Diggerland.

Emergency services were called to the amusement park in Kent at around 4pm on Monday (15 June).

The news that a man had been airlifted was only disclosed today.

Officers from Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics were called to Diggerland after reports of a man needing medical attention in the area.

He was treated for injuries to his pelvis and femur and was subsequently airlifted to a hospital in London, as per Kent Live reports

A report had been filed of a man in need of medical attention in the area. Paramedics treated the man for injuries to his pelvis and femur.

Officers identified no criminal offences while no details have been revealed about how the man was injured.

A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a medical incident at around 4.17pm on Monday 15 June 2026 to Roman Way, Diggerland. Officers attended alongside paramedics and a man was taken to a London hospital for treatment.”

A spokesperson for the ambulance service also confirmed that multiple crews attended the incident as well as the Air Ambulance Charity with the man taken to Kings College Hospital in London for treatment.

They said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 16:00 yesterday (15/06/26) to reports of a person in need of medical attention on Roman Way in Strood, Rochester.

"Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated the patient for injuries to their pelvis and femur before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. The patient was then airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.”
