A major UK retailer has announced a new host of store closures, with the chain expecting to have closed over 100 shops by next year.
Poundland has revealed a further 14 stores that will close, on top of the 40 that have already been announced.
The discount retailer is undergoing a restructuring process, with its number of shops being reduced from 800 to between 650 and 700.
Poundland was sold for £1 to investment firm Gordon Brothers earlier this year, and avoided entering administration after a restructuring plan was approved in August.
The retailer closed 57 shops by September, and had previously revealed 40 more were due to close.
The latest announcement adds 14 more stores to the list of shops due to shut.
Stores that are due to close will see clearance sales and reductions of up to 40% on remaining stock.
