“He has an extensive trajectory of work but his movie, Home Alone is one of the most beloved holiday movies known the world over.

“How fitting that Catherine O’Hara who played Macaulay’s mother in the film is reuniting with her movie son and will be speaking at the ceremony!”

Culkin, who starred in 13 films as a child, took a break from acting when he was in his mid-teens.

He finally returned inn the mid 2000s with roles in Robot Chicken, WIll & Grace, and more.

Culkin’s struggle with fame and substance abuse have been well documented over the last two decades.
