Lorraine presenter Ranvir Singh has apologised for saying that England women's forward Beth Mead "looked knackered" during an interview. Mead appeared on the programme on Tuesday morning to discuss the Lionesses' historic Euro 2022 victory. Singh, who stepped in for usual host Lorraine Kelly, started off the interview by saying: "How are you? I mean you look a bit knackered to be fair..." The forward, who was England's top scorer at the tournament with six goals, was shocked by the comment and replied: "Oh thank you!"
