The FIFA World Cup 2026 is finally here as players and fans head to the US, Canada, and Mexico for the biggest tournament to date.
The first match officially takes place today (11 June) with one of the three host countries, Mexico facing South Africa.
As well as this there will also be an opening ceremony at Estadio Banorte, featuring performances from Shakira, J Balvin, Andrea Bocelli, and Mexican artists Mana, Belinda, and Lila Downs.
Meanwhile Scotland's first match will take place at 1am on 14 June, while England kick off their World Cup campaign on 17 June.
