Sir Keir Starmer will hold another emergency COBRA meeting this evening to discuss the action being used to tackle riots across the nation.
All relevant ministers and some police chiefs will be in attendance ahead of what is expected to be a 'big day' of unrest tomorrow.
COBRA meetings, which stand for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A, are called in times of national emergencies.
Riots continue to take place across the nation following last weeks mass stabbing in Southport.
Rumours about the suspect spread online claiming he was an asylum seeker.
These rumours were later proved false, although the riots continue.
On the seventh night of disorder, numerous police officers were injured in Plymouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police arrested six people.
Over the weekend other riots took place in numerous major cities in the UK leading to many police officers being injured and dozens of people being arrested.
