Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews, who went 'missing', appears to have been arrested and is being held in a prison in Dubai, it's been reported.
Earlier this week, a missing person's report was officially filed for Lee Andrews, as his whereabouts had been unknown for a significant amount of time.
It has now emerged that Andrews was arrested by authorities in the United Arab Emirates; however, the charge has not yet been confirmed.
According to Andrew's father, Peter, his son is 'ok', and he also alleged that he was not abducted.
"He has not been kidnapped, but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge," he told the Daily Mail.
"I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today. He is not at my house."
A police source also reportedly told the publication: "Lee Andrews has been arrested."
When Andrews was alleged to have gone missing, the British Foreign Office's staff in Dubai were unable to track him down, according to the publication.
In addition, the authorities in Dubai have reportedly denied knowledge of his whereabouts at the time.
Andrews was living with his father, Peter, in Dubai before meeting and later marrying Katie Price (48).
Earlier this week, Price revealed the final texts that Andrews sent before his disappearance.
"Lee has been missing for three days. The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10 o’clock," the former Glamour model said on Wednesday in a YouTube video.
"He was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me… and this is so, so discombobulating… His location went off at 10:03 Wednesday night; that’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and me."
Then on Thursday, Price was forced to end a podcast episode recording early after she received a call from the police.
At the end of the episode, after Price’s sister Sophie asked her a question about camping at a festival, she made an announcement to listeners: "Sorry for that intermission, Kate has had to shoot off because she is taking a call from the police, so that is it for today’s episode."
Earlier during the episode, Price shared some more details about Andrews’ disappearance: "There’s nothing more for me to say aside from the police are now handling it. The British police, the British consulate, the Foreign Office, and Interpol.
"They are all on the case now, looking for Lee, and a lot of people didn’t think this was serious; they still don’t think it is serious, so I have decided from today.
"There is absolutely nothing more I can do, nothing more I can say and now the police are dealing with it, I’m just leaving it to the police."
