Irwin shared photos from his recent Father’s Day celebrations
Jonnie Irwin has shared more photos of him alongside his family following their Father’s Day celebrations.
Last year, the A Place In The Sun presenter revealed he could have only “months to live” after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Irwin has been open and honest about his life with lung cancer, which has recently spread to the brain.
In the wholesome family photos, which the 49-year-old describes as the “best ever, he can be seen with cake, cricket, and loved ones. The presenter has yet to tell his children about his diagnosis as he doesn’t want to “confuse” them.
His Instagram post said: “Breakfast of Chocolate Guinness cake baked expertly my brilliant wife then cards from the boys and visit from my brother in law for a brief pillion ride back in time to enjoy some of the highs and lows of the Ashes ending in more cake with more family washed down by a drop of champers.”
As he updated his followers on his Father’s Day activity, including his present of Time Out Space furniture.
The furniture contained a giant table and chairs which he said will be used by the family for all of their meals – when the weather allows for it – as well as hosting garden parties.
Following his update, the comments section showed their support for Irwin.
“This is so wonderful. Have the most wonderful time with your beautiful family,” wrote one person.
” Enjoy Jonnie. You deserve all these special moments. Sending love and best wishes,” said another.
