Johnny Depp recalls ‘grotesque’ moment he found ‘human poo’ on his side of the marital bed

The actor claims that his ex-wife blamed the incident on their teacup Yorkshire Terriers

Johnny Depp has spoke out about the moment he discovered “human faecal matter” on the sheets in his bed.

The US actor, 58, recalled his reaction to discovering the faeces while testifying in court as part of his $50m libel trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

Depp alleged that the incident happened after he and Heard, 35, had an argument over him arriving late to her 30th birthday party back in 2016.

He told the court how his ex-wife, who is also an actor, had gone to the Coachella Music Festival while Depp had gone back to their Los Angeles home to grab some items. He explained that he had previously left their house following an argument.

Depp told the court that when he arrived, his security guard Sean Bett warned him not to go in the bedroom before showing him a photograph of their bed.

The actor told the court: “On my side of the bed was human faecal matter. I laughed. It was so outside. It was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”

Depp had previously accused the actress or one of her friends of defecating in the bed but Heard reportedly denied these suggestions and said it was in fact left by one of her teacup Yorkshire Terriers.

Depp said: “I lived with those dogs for many years. That did not come from a dog. It just didn’t.”

The actor said he returned to their penthouse apartment with his security guards, who he took with him as “based on his past experiences” he didn’t want to be alone with Heard if things “escalate”.
