Jeremy Corbyn thinks the Queen is a 'Secret Gooner'

The Queen is a Gooner.

You've heard the chants. You've heard the rumours based on her Highness' garb. But now we have Jeremy Corbyn's thoughts that The Queen is indeed an Arsenal fan.

Speaking at the House of Commons as part of the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, the Labour leader weighed in with his thoughts on the Queen's team of choice.

"We all suspect her Majesty is, secretly, a Gooner."

Corbyn himself is a lifelong Arsenal fan and member of Parliament since 1983. After joking about his love of Arsenal (he did not confirm whether he was #WengerIn or #WengerOut), he took us back to 2006, where The Queen missed passed on opening Emirates Stadium with Prince Phillip.

"The Queen was due to open the Emirates Stadium in my constituency but had to pull out due to injury, a fate since suffered by many," Corbyn joked.

Or maybe as an Arsenal fan, her Majesty knew that leaving Highbury would doom Arsenal to a decade without a league title.

Who knows?
