US rapper Jay-Z has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The anonymous accuser claims she was drugged and raped at a house party following the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in 2000.
It is alleged an unnamed female celebrity was also in the room at the time.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, said in a statement that the lawsuit was a "blackmail attempt".
Combs denied the accusations. He is currently in prison awaiting trial after being charged with sex-trafficking and other offences.
The lawsuit was first filed in October, but was refiled on Sunday and added Jay-Z as a defendant.
"My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee," the 55-year-old wrote in a statement online.
"What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
"No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!"
Texas-based lawyer Buzbee has filed several lawsuits accusing Combs of assault and rape.
Combs' legal team said the latest lawsuit was a 'publicity stunt', and said it was "designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr Combs".
