Janice Wheeler, known for playing Janice Hosenstein on US sitcom Friends, has paid tribute to Matthew Perry after he was found dead at his home on Saturday afternoon (October 28).
He was 54 years old.
A call was received by police in Los Angeles, at 4.07pm local time (12.07am UK time).
The incident at the actor’s home in the Pacific Palisades in LA was treated as a ‘water rescue,’ Sky News reports.
There was no apparent foul play and no confirmed cause of death. An investigation is ongoing.
In response to the news, Wheeler posted to Instagram, writing: What a loss.The world will miss you Mathew Perry . The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared."

The actor is best known for his iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing in Friends, alongside David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Matt Le Blanc.
