Legendary Irish fashion designer, Paul Costelloe, has died at the age of 80.
Costelloe, who presented collections at London Fashion Week for the last 35 years was one of the best known names in Irish and British fashion.
He died last night in London.
His family confirmed his passing writing that they were 'deeply saddened'.
They said: "He was surrounded by his wife and seven children and passed peacefully in London."
Costelloe's career started at the Grafton Academy of Fashion Design.
He then travelled around Milan, Paris, New York, and London.
It was in 1979 that he said up his own label.
