You can now get your hands on the brand new iPhone 16 for just £24 per month – which is cheaper than a Black Friday deal.

The new model, which comes in brand new colours including ultra marine, teal and pink, was unveiled at Apple's annual event last September.

This latest iPhone 16 deal is available through Sky mobile and is cheaper than their Black Friday deal in November.

The iPhone 16 usually starts from $799 (£610.60) but Sky customers can get the new phone from £24 per month.

Sky cut the price of a new iPhone 16 to £25 per month for Black Friday but the exact same deal is now £24. The monthly price includes the handset only but Sky has also cut the price of data plans.

The cheapest is the 3GB data plan, which has been cut from £10 to £5 for the first six months of the contract. This means the iPhone 16 handset plus data plan is under £30 a month for the first time. 

Other half price data plans in the sale include a 5GB plan for £6 a month, 10GB for £7 a month and 50GB for £15 a month. 

The latest iPhone enhancements, unveiled by Apple at the tech giant's annual event, include an AI writing tool, voice transcribing software and new emojis as well as a new ultra-wide camera.

Another new feature is the 'camera control' button on the side of the device which gives users the ability to open and operate the camera with the touch of a button.

With this feature you can also take photos of a restaurant and then Apple Intelligence will look up the information.

iPhone users are calling the technology a 'game-changer'.

The Apple Intelligence feature will allow users to create their own emojis. A spokesperson from the tech giant explained: "Emoji will be taken to an entirely new level with the ability to create original Genmoji by simply typing a description, or by selecting a photo of a friend or family member."
