The Disney influencer Dominique Brown is said to have suffered an allergic reaction.
Disney influencer, Dominique Brown has died aged 34.
The influencer shared her love for the Disney brand and theme parks on both her personal page and her Black Girl Disney Instagram account, which has 18,5000 followers.
The influencer reportedly died after she experienced an allergic reaction at a holiday event hosted by pop culture merchandise retailer BoxLunch.
According to reports the event was hosted in Los Angeles December 5, however, her official cause of her death has not yet been released.
In a statement yesterday, a representative for BoxLunch told People: “We are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown.
“A beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch on Thursday in Los Angeles.”
“Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time,” the statement continued.
The 34-year-olds brother, Patrick Ramos, thanked fans for their support after the news of his sister’s death was made public.
Commenting below his sister’s last Instagram post, he wrote: “I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to her social media fam for showing her so much love and light.
“Disney did bring her joy, but it was unparalleled that she found a community who loved her and Disney as much as she did,” he added.
“I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart,” Ramos concluded.
Fellow creators left their own tributes for Brown, who went by the username HellooDomo.
“The kindest most genuine person in this community …we will miss you Domo,” wrote one user.
Another added: “One of the kindest people I’ve met in this community. Because we knew you, we have been changed for good.”
