Kick streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, known as Amouranth, told fans she shot an intruder as her home was being invaded this past weekend.
The influencer told her fans on X that she was being 'robbed at gunpoint' at her property in Houston, Texas.
On Sunday, March 2 at 10.55pm Central Standard Time, the streamer tweeted: "I’m being too robbed at gunpont."
A minute later she added: "I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed."
The three masked men demanded that she transfer them her cryptocurrency
Siragusa was handed her phone to sign into her account, as one of the intruders held a gun to her head.
In an attempt to not raise suspicion, the streamer tweeted for help rather than calling the authorities.
She explained that she made this decision because in the situation calling 911 would have been 'a death sentence'.
The 31-year-old shared in November that she owned over $20 million in Bitcoin and (£15.7m) just shy of $80,000 (£62.9k) of the digital coin Ethereum.
She informed fans of her safety later that night, explaining that SWAT had arrived.
Minutes later she updated: "I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now."
Additionally, the next morning she posted surveillance footage of the invasion, writing: "3 gun men. He screams 'I got shot I got shot' after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence."
She detailed how she was 'beat up' by the men who 'brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns'.
