Holly Willoughby has pleaded guilty by post to the charge at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and has been fined in court.

The 44-year-old TV presenter did not attend the hearing but she admitted driving without attention and due care.

The collision of her car with a moped happened on 28 August in Barnes, southwest London.

For driving her Mini Cooper without due care, she was fined £1,653.

According to the Metropolitan Police, she was given six points on her licence, while she was also fined £130 in costs and a £661 victim surcharge.

Court documents state that police were called to Church Road, Barnes, after reports of a collision as the presenter was driving her car near her home in Richmond.

It was reported that the 43-year-old man who was riding the moped did not suffer any life-threatening or life-changing injuries, once they were assessed in the hospital.
