Well now, just a few weeks later, there's some stiff competition after an image that surfaced on Sunday of a hare with a cigarette in its mouth at Dublin Airport.

The picture was posted on Twitter by Louise Acheson on her arrival at Dublin Airport on Sunday evening and quickly spread like wildfire, amassing over 1,000 retweets and well over 2,000 likes, while the hashtags included by Louise in the tweet were both trending in Dublin on Sunday night.

On closer inspection, it would appear, thankfully, that the cigarette isn’t actually lit and it seems as if the hare picked up a fag dropped out of a box by a Dublin Airport passenger on its travels across the waiting area for buses outside.
Or, maybe it was getting impatient waiting on a lift into the city. Who knows?
