‘I’m going to miss you forever’

Yesterday afternoon the news emerged that four bodies had been recovered during the search for the four young men from Shrewsbury who had gone missing in North Wales.

Best friends from Shrewsbury, Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson, and Hugo Morris, who were all aged between 16 and 18, were travelling through Harlech and Porthmadog when they were last heard from on Sunday November 19.

After they were reported missing, police began a frantic search for their car, before eventually locating their silver Ford Fiesta, as well as the four bodies inside it.

Tributes for the teenagers have been pouring in, including one from the girlfriend of Wilf who wrote: “I love you so much baby. I’m going to miss you forever. The sweetest and most loving boy I’ve ever known.

“I hope you know how much I love you gorgeous.”

She added: “Thank you for all the time you’ve spent with me the most. Thank you for loving me endlessly, I promise I’ll do the same for you.

“My sweet sweet angel, I can’t imagine my world without you. I’m missing you so much already but I am going to enjoy the life the way you would’ve wanted. The way that you made me feel.”

Her mother, Lisa, said she was ‘absolutely heartbroken’ for her daughter and ‘all of the boys family involved’ in a Facebook post.
