A Gaza ceasefire agreement between the Israeli government and Hamas has been reached, according to multiple reports.
Details regarding the proposed agreement are still emerging, but multiple outlets have stated that sources on both sides of the conflict have confirmed the news.
It is said that the deal secures the release of hostages held by Hamas, the release of Palestinian detainees held by Israel and the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza.
In a post on social media, incoming US President Donald Trump also said: "We have a deal for the hostages in the Middle East.
"They will be released shortly."
