Elton John has shared a heartbreaking update about his health.
The 77-year-old singer lost the vision in his right eye last year after contracting an infection.
Now, his eyesight has deteriorated so badly he can no longer sign autographs.
Fans who purchased the £24.99 limited edition autographed sets of his new album were warned the singer had to 'simplify' his signature.
The Tiny Dancer singer is signing just 'E' and a kiss on his the sets.
In November, Sir Elton revealed his fear that his failing sight may prevent him finishing the album, Who Believes In Angels?
However, the collaboration with country star Brandi Carlile is set to be released on April 4.
Last July, while on a holiday in the South of France, the pop legend contracted an infection which caused him to lose vision in his right eye.
Following this, he also revealed that the sight in his left eye is 'not the greatest'.
Additionally, the star has been unable to watch his new musical version of The Devil Wears Prada.
In an interview with Good Morning America, he revealed: “It kind of floored me, and I can’t see anything.
“I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything," he said.
He continued: “I can do something like this [interview] but going into the studio and recording, I don’t know, because I can’t see a lyric for start.”
