Donald Trump says he won’t deport Prince Harry as ‘he has enough problems with his wife’

"He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible."

Right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation previously called into question the Brit's immigration status following the release of his memoir Spare.

In the book, the 40-year-old admitted to taking drugs when he was younger, which led to the foundation asking whether the royal told the truth on his US visa application.

There are also questions over whether Harry received special treatment from the Biden administration to enter the country.

The Heritage Foundation is in legal proceedings with the US Department for Homeland Security, not Harry himself.

The rules for US immigration say that drug convictions can make people ineligible for a visa, but waivers are available.

President Trump has now spoken out on the Harry issue, and said that he does not plan to deport him.

“I don’t want to do that,” he told the New York Post.

“I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

This is in spite of his previous comments to the Express US that he wouldn't protect him.

"I wouldn't protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That's unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me," Trump previously claimed.
