A dog in Cardiff made an interesting discovery while out on a walk.
Scout, a brown spaniel, was rummaging around in the Pentwyn area of Wales' capital when he came across a bag with £2,200 in cash as well as 97g of cannabis.
Both the cash and the drugs were stashed in a satchel bag that was hidden by undergrowth.
Scout was searching the area along with South Wales Police following reports of drugs in the area.
South Wales Police wrote on social media: "Ok, ok, it was us who let the dogs out... on this occasion PD Scout.
"Following information received around drug dealing in the #Pentwyn area, proactive patrols have been - and will continue to be - carried out around hot spot locations.
"During a recent search, PD Scout alerted to a satchel bag concealed in undergrowth - this bag containing over £2,200 in cash and 97g of cannabis.
"Earlier in the week, five deal-size bags of believed Class A drugs were also recovered after being hidden amongst undergrowth. All have now been taken off the streets of Pentwyn.
"We can, and as shown here, regularly act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming and continue to work with us."
Many impressed dog lovers took to the comments of the Facebook post.
One user wrote: "My spaniels have never found anything on a walk except for fox poo and bread! Well done Scout."
