David Schwimmer urges Elon Musk to ban Kanye West from X

The rapper shared a string of vile comments on social media.

West shared a series of tweets on X on Friday, in which he made a series of antisemitic, homnophobic and fatphobic comments.

The 47-year-old posted that he ‘is a Nazi’ and ‘loves Hitler’ in an offensive tweeting spree.

“I LOVE HITLER. NOW WHAT B***ES,” he wrote.

“LETS SEE IF YALL GIVE THAT MONEY BACK,” he continued in another post, before adding: “IM A NAZI.”

“IM RACIST STEREO TYPES EXIST FOR A REASON AND THEY ALL BE TRUE,” he added.

“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS I CAN WHATEVER THE F*** I WANNA SAY FOREVER WHERES MY F***ING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS SUCK MY D*** HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY,” the rapper wrote.

He also brought up Elon Musk, who appeared to give a Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration last month.

“ELON STOLE MY NAZI SWAG AT THE INAUGURATION YOOOO MY GUY GET YOUR OWN THIRD RALE.”

Now, Schwimmer, who is Jewish, has urged Mr Musk to remove West from X because of his "hate-filled, ignorant bile".

The American actor said on his Instagram account: "This is so 2022.

"We can't stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk.

"Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X," he continued.

"That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence.

"His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.

"I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point."

The post concluded with the words: "Silence is complicity."

The Campaign Against Antisemitism has also called for Mr Musk to remove West from X.
