Charlotte Crosby held at Dubai airport after sex toy found in luggage

Not the ideal start to a Christmas getaway...

Charlotte Crosby has decided to get away from the rainy, miserable British weather in the build-up to Christmas by escaping to Dubai for some sun and sand - but it's safe to say that her trip didn't get off to the best of starts. The reality star, who shot to fame on the show Geordie Shore, was stopped at the airport on arrival after security staff found a "sex toy in her hand luggage." Crosby is currently in Dubai with her friend Adam Frisby, the CEO of women's brand InTheStyle. It was Frisby that revealed the embarrassing tale. In an Instagram story, he said their trip began with a "stressful experience." He wrote: "Charlotte and I got pulled at the airport because she had a sex toy in her hand luggage.

"She nearly got arrested and we had to plead with airport security.

"I mean you couldn’t make it up! Absolute belter of a start!"
