Celebs Go Dating star Eden Blackman dies aged 57

"We’ll carry his spirit with us always."

Blackman was one of the dating coaches on the reality series, taking part in the show from its first season in 2016 to its fourth season in 2018.

His death was confirmed in an emotional statement on his Instagram account.

"We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Eden passed away on 21 June 2025, after carrying a long illness with quiet grace," it read.

"Eden blazed through life with charm, mischief and a fire that was entirely his own, magnetic, stylish, sharp, impossibly handsome and always up for the adventure.

"Music was his first love and constant companion, a pulse that shaped who he was, and he carved his path through that world with instinct, passion and deep care for the people he worked with.

"Later he brought that same energy and wild spark to television, helping others shine.

"He championed people with sincerity, humour and encouragement, always wanting others to feel seen at their best."

It continued: "To know Eden was to be caught in his orbit - fun, unpredictable, vivid and full of life. He stood proud, laughed loudly and lived as only he could. We’ll carry his spirit with us always.

"We ask for privacy as we find our way through this loss, and thank you for your love and kindness."

Blackman's co-stars and celebrities who appeared on Celebs Go Dating paid tribute to him in the post's comments section.

"This is so very sad. I will always be hugely grateful for his kindness and generosity of spirit. My deepest condolences at this heartbreaking time," Tom Wilson, the show's receptionist and client co-ordinator, wrote.

Calum Best, who appeared on season three, wrote: "Ahh man I’m so sorry about this he was such a good man, rip my bro I’m sorry."

Talia Storm, singer who appeared on season four, penned: "Heartbroken to read this. Sending all my love to Eden's family and everyone who knew him. Working with him on CGD was such a special time, he was truly amazing, full of unforgettable memories, and always looked out for me. Rest easy, Eden. Sending love and condolences to those who lives he lit up."
