She said her weight-loss was as a result of ‘cancer medicine’
Bhad Bhabie has seemingly revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer, in response to comments about her weight she was receiving online.
The rapper, real name Danielle Bregoli, became an internet superstar in 2016 when she appeared on US show Dr Phil and famously told the audience to ‘cash me outside, how ’bout that?’
Since then the 21-year-old has gone to on to forge a career as a rapper, and has become one of the top earners on OnlyFans.
But in recent weeks, some have voiced concerns about her wellbeing after she appeared to lose a notable amount of weight, the Women’s Health reports.
Responding to the comments online, Bregoli said the weight loss was due to “cancer medicine” she was taking.
In a post on Instagram on November 7, she wrote: “I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose weight [sic]. I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running the worst narratives.”
Bregoli hasn’t shared anything further about her health or the cancer medicine.
TMZ reports that a family source confirmed Bregoli’s cancer diagnosis to them.
A number of fans have since taken to social media to send their well wishes to the rapper.
In a post on X, one wrote: “This is sad, wishing her a fast recovery.”
Another said: “This is why people need to stop talking about celebs body’s like this you never know what someone’s going through.”
A third wrote: “Honestly this is so sad. She’s so young and she has a whole life ahead of herself. Sending love and healing her way, may god bless her.”
In March this year, Bregoli welcomed her first child, a daughter named Kali, with her then-boyfriend Le Vaughn.
