Baby name trends are ever-changing, but vintage names are proving to be incredibly popular in 2025.
Earlier this year, we revealed that vintage baby names were growing in popularity with new parents.
And one name in particular is making quite the comeback.
The name Josephine has been spotted on the top 100 baby girl names after being absent from the list for over 60 years.
According to What To Expect, the name Josephine has entered the top 100 at 96.
The team shared:
"A classic, old-fashioned baby name that was popular in decades past may strike the perfect balance between modern sensibilities and time-honored traditions,"
"After falling out of the top 100 names in 1943, Josephine is in the top 100 for the first time this century at No. 96."
