So much for anarchy in the UK. Soon you'll be able to purchase your next Starbucks hit with a Sex Pistols-themed credit card...
Seemingly without a hint of irony, Virgin Money are to launch a set of Pistols-inspired cards, because it's "time for consumers to put a little bit of rebellion in their pocket."
The three designs do feature words like 'b*llocks' and 'sex', so you know, fight the power and all that. Imagine the thrill of insurgence when you purchase your next three piece suite from DFS!
Michele Greene, Virgin's director of cards claims: "The Sex Pistols challenged convention and the established ways of thinking – just as we are doing today in our quest to shake up UK banking."
Sadly this is not a parody. As the song goes: "Your future dream is a shopping scheme". It so evidently is.
