It features three leading men you might not expect to see in a movie together.
An incredible action movie with an star studded cast in on TV tonight.
The 2011 action thriller which is set in the '80s and follows Danny Bryce (Jason Statham), one of the world's deadliest special-ops agents, as he returns from self-imposed exile after his mentor, Hunter (Robert De Niro), is captured.
In order to free Hunter, Danny is tasked with killing three former members of Britain's Special Air Service, all the while dodging the Feather Men (fronted by Clive Owen), a shadowy group whose mission is to protect ex-SAS men.
Based on a novel by Ranulph Fiennes, directed by Northern Irish filmmaker Gary McKendry and also featuring amongst its cast Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One), Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) and Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid's Tale), Killer Elite boasts plenty of major talent.
And though it may be far from the heights of De Niro's output at his peak, it does make for a solidly watchable action flick.
Killer Elite is on ITV4 tonight at 10pm.
