Heard apparently admitted it was a ‘practical joke gone wrong’

A security guard has testified that Amber Heard admitted to leaving in poo in her and Johnny Depp’s bed whilst they were married.

Of all the outrageous and bizarre revelations and claims in the defamation trial between the pair, one of the craziest accusations is that Heard once deliberately left ‘human faecal matter’ on Depp’s side of the bed.

Depp alleged that the incident happened after he and Heard, 35, had an argument over him arriving late to her 30th birthday party back in 2016.

He told the court how his ex-wife had gone to the Coachella Music Festival while Depp had gone back to their Los Angeles home to grab some items. He explained that he had previously left their house following an argument.

Depp told the court that when he arrived, his security guard Sean Bett warned him not to go in the bedroom before showing him a photograph of their bed.

The actor told the court: “On my side of the bed was human faecal matter. I laughed. It was so outside. It was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”

Heard had apparently blamed the incident on her two dogs, but Depp dismissed this suggestion, saying: “I lived with those dogs for many years. That did not come from a dog. It just didn’t.”

Now, a member of Depp’s security team at the time has testified in the case, and claims that Heard admitted responsibility for the incident to him.

Starling Jenkins told the court that he had a conversation with Heard before he was set to accompany her to Coachella.

He said that she admitted to having a fight with Depp and throwing the actor’s personal belongings from the balcony.

Jenkins then told the court that Heard said the faeces in the bed was a “horrible practical joke gone wrong.”

Depp is currently suing his former wife Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in 2018 in which she discussed the subject of domestic abuse.

Depp and his lawyers argue that the Washington Post piece falsely implies that Heard was physically and sexually abused by Depp while they were married from 2015 to 2017. He is seeking $50m in damages.

Heard is in turn suing her former husband, accusing him of orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her and labelling his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment.”

She has asked for immunity from Depp’s complaint, and $100m in damages.
