The death toll from the Texas floods has now topped 82 people.
Floodwaters swept into central Texas on Friday without much morning leaving a trail of destruction in its place.
Many of the victims are children who were attending Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp along the river bank.
While many bodies have been recovered there are still 10 missing girls and one missing camp counsellor.
In a statement, Camp Mystic said: "This tragedy has devastated us and our entire community.
"Our hearts are broken alongside the families that are enduring this tragedy, and we share their hope and prayers."
Metro report that families have been searching through the waterlogged ruins since Sunday.
Robert Modgling, a 55-year-old plumber who joined rescuers, said to the New York Times: "There’s a handful of people that were rescued initially, and after that there just weren’t any. That part’s over."
He said that he found the body of a young girl, saying: "I've got a daughter who's about that age."
Authorities have faced a number of questions regarding whether enough warning was given about the potential floods and whether preparations were made.
