Netflix's original series 13 Reasons Why hasn't spent much time outside of the headlines since it dropped last month.
The show focuses on the suicide of a high-school student who leaves behind tapes explaining to several of her schoolmates why they are responsible for her death. The show struck up much debate over whether it was a responsible depiction of issues such as self-harm and suicide, and just last week Netflix was forced to add trigger warnings to the show.
On the other side, many have argued that the show tackles issues that affect teenagers in a realistic way, and highlights the ill-effects of problems like bullying, online abuse and sexual assault.
Netflix have today confirmed that the show will be back for a second season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Hannah's story is still very much not finished," he said. "She's an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she's very much still at the center of it."
