Tons of 90s kids have had their minds blown after being told Natalie Imbruglia’s biggest tune, 'Torn', is actually a cover.
In 1993, the song was written for Danish singer Lis Sørensen and was later recorded by rock band, Ednaswap.
However, the track didn’t garner much attention until a few years later when Natalie released her version.
A tweet reminding people of the fact came as a surprise to a number of fans, who up until that point had been completely unaware.

Obviously, you'd assume original version wouldn't be totally unfamiliar but it still sounds pretty weird compared to Natalie’s version.
