Marilyn Manson’s record label has said they will no longer promote his latest album, following accusations of abuse made against him

Loma Vista Records said that they would not be working with Manson – real name Brian Hugh Warner – in the future. His profile has also been removed from the label’s website.

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately. Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects,” the label told The Hollywood Reporter.

His latest album We Are Chaos was released in September 2020.

Manson will also be removed from various television shows that he was set to appear in.

The singer has a small role in Starz’s American Gods, but the one remaining upcoming episode with his character will be postponed until his part has been edited out.

“Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season. Starz stands unequivocally with all victims and survivors of abuse,” the network said in a statement.

AMC Networks also confirmed that an upcoming segment of the Shudder anthology series Creepshow that features Marilyn Manson will now not air, and be replaced.

The announcements follow Manson’s former finace Evan Rachel Wood accusing him of grooming her and subjecting her to years of ‘horrific’ abuse.

The 33-year-old Westworld star got engaged to Manson in January 2010 after a three-year relationship. The pair called off the engagement months later.

In a brief statement posted to her Instagram page on Monday, Wood said she had been ‘brainwashed and manipulated into submission,’  by Manson, who is now 52.

‘The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson,’ Wood wrote.

‘He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.

‘I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.’

According to a report by Vanity Fair, four other women have come forward with their own allegations against Manson in the time since Wood published her statement on Instagram.

They have provided details of their own experiences which they claim included sexual assault, psychological abuse, coercion, violence, and intimidation.

Marilyn manson called the accusations “horrible distortions of reality” in a statement on Instagram.
