Kesha surprised fans with a powerful performance at Coachella

The past few months have been rough for Kesha, with her life and career being dictated by a lengthy legal battle against Sony and Dr. Luke.

One thing that has prevailed, however, is the singer’s hoard of loyal fans who have pledged their support for the 29-year-old. The hashtag #FreeKesha has gained support from fans worldwide, as well as from fellow artists.

Possibly in an act of thanks, Kesha arrived on stage at the weekend’s Coachella festival to deliver a powerful performance of Zedd’s hit song True Colours.

“I won’t apologise for the fire in my eyes,” she sang. “Let me show you my true colours.”

Fans had suspected the singer was set to make an appearance, and she confirmed it with a post on her Instagram page.
