Michel Pereira goes full Mortal Kombat for KO of the night bonus at UFC Rochester
Button bashing majesty
Michel Pereira's Octagon debut was as billed. A jamboree of acrobatics and hellish power, the Brazilian secured his first UFC win via flying knee and right straight.
The potential knockout of the year candidate scooped 25-year-old Pereira a $50,000 performance of the night bonus.
English Danny 'Hot Chocolate' Roberts was sent to the shadow realm.
As Joe Martinez introduced Pereira he took the centre of the Octagon and began break dancing. The first round saw a somersault kick and superman punch, off the cage in the style of Anthony Pettis, but it didn't go past two minutes.
Hot Chocolate was out cold.
The kind of finish expected from the viral Pereira performances that got him a shot in the big time...
