'If you’re too beautiful, your body is seen as a threat to society'
A model has claimed that she is so ridiculously good looking that she is "too dangerous" for the internet and is targeted by trolls who try and get her cancelled for being "naturally perfect".
Veronika Rajek claims her perfect figure creates jealousy and results in body shaming.
The 26-year-old from Solovakia told
The Sun: “My body is considered a danger on social media, and I am constantly being cancelled by trolls for doing absolutely nothing but sharing photos of my body.”
Veronika, who has worked as model since the age of 14, said while the internet champions body positivity, the movement stops short of including her.
“These days, you see a lot of overweight or even obese women online, talking about body positivity, but when a beautiful, tall woman wants to be positive in her own skin, people want to attack me and call me privileged,” she said.
The model, who is 6ft tall, said that she once spent $80 for a breast exam just to prove to her followers that her 36D cups are real, because her "too beautiful" body makes people feel threatened.
Veronika has
2.7m followers on Instagram, but says she is still subjected to nasty comments from people "jealous of my naturally fit body".
She claimed some people even report her Instagram account because they are "offended" by her slim look, "I’m losing out on money and work because of it".
Veronika says her Instagram pictures are not explicit - they generally show her in her lingerie on swimwear - and she posts them to promote body positivity. “I don’t understand why my version of body positivity is wrong,” she said, arguing that models are "supposed to be sexy".
She added: “If you’re too beautiful, your body is seen as a threat to society.”
As a child, Veronika says she was often bullied and called names like “desk” and “giraffe” due to her height and flat chest.
