Tinder’s new ‘share’ button will change the way you date online

She may not be your type, but perfect for your mate.

It can be pretty frustrating when you stumble across someone on Tinder who isn't your cup of tea, but who you know is right up your single mate's street. Do you match her so you don't lose your pal's soulmate forever in the ether of cyberspace? Or swipe left and hope against hope he finds her himself. Now, with the addition of a 'share' button, you can actually send a profile directly to your friend for them to swipe left or right themselves. According to Business Insider, the button is already active in New York City, and integrates with a number of different apps including iMessage, Slack and LinkedIn. We're not so sure how sending date suggestions to LinkedIn contacts would go down, but hey, we're not here to judge. images via Business Insider
