As popular as it may be, using Snapchat can eat away at your data.
Continuously downloading snaps can quickly see you forking out money for data add-ons.
But thankfully, there is a simple way around this problem.
As pointed out by
Stuff.co.nz, the Travel Mode feature is turned off by default. But by switching it on, snaps and stories will only load when you tap on them.
Here's how to do it:
1. Open the app and then tap on the settings gear icon, seen in the top right of the screen
2. Scroll down to 'Additional Services' and tap on 'Manage'
3. Tap the 'Travel Mode' button
