Probably the best Christmas present in the world.

JOE reader Andrea McConnon Donnelly has written to us to tell us about the ingenious present her daughter Ciara thought up for her dad - an Irish 'Beervent Calendar'. Andrea writes: "Best Advent Calendar ever!!! My daughter Ciara asked me to take her to the beer shop yesterday so she could buy 25 beers to make her dad a Beervent Calender. "She took ages handpicking 25 unique beers to carefully wrap and number as a surprise because he doesn't really like chocolate (though it would have been cheaper if he did). "She hesitated at one point wondering if he'd like Tequila shots or Vodka instead - thankfully her piggy bank wouldn't stretch to that! "She was so excited at the idea of giving it to him 'so he could have a wee drink every day and be happy cos it is Christmas after all'. Needless to say he was a very happy guy indeed."
