VIDEO: People are unsurprisingly enjoying videos of a hydraulic press crushing things

As a cultural artefact, a symbol of simpler times and a pioneer of mobile technology - the Nokia 3310 is indestructible.

Unfortunately, much like The Terminator, it doesn't stand much of a chance against a hydraulic press.

A new internet fad - crush porn, you might call it - involves someone uploading video clips of various objects being slowly and mercilessly flattened by this industrial monster. The latest victim is Nokia's poor old phone, which we think shows an offensive lack of gratitude for all the games of Snake and wealth of ringtone options it gave us. There is admittedly something quite meditative about it, though.
