Patience is a virtue

A Florida man has landed a big lottery win on a ticket that he only purchased after someone cut in ahead of him in the queue. Stephen Munoz Espinoza struck gold, winning $1 million on a lottery ticket after a rude stranger jumped ahead of him in line at a Florida grocery store. Espinoza had just finished a day of work and was looking to buy a lottery ticket from the store's ticket machine. But when another customer cut in front of him the 43-year-old decided to get a ticket from the counter inside Publix Super Market instead. He told Florida Lottery:  "It was the end of a long day, and I was tired. I stopped at Publix and was about to buy a ticket at the machine when a man cut right in front of me. "Instead of saying something, I decided I'd just buy a ticket at the counter instead. I can't believe I won a million dollars!" https://twitter.com/floridalottery/status/1618294227536064512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1618294227536064512%7Ctwgr%5E99f50e64e7357d8e453d9db0ab7229a9332151c6%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnypost.com%2F2023%2F01%2F27%2Fflorida-man-stephen-espinoza-wins-1m-on-lottery-ticket-after-being-cut-in-line%2F Munoz Espinoza purchased his $50 ticket for a “500X The Cash” game — which has a top prize of $25 million. He chose the one-time, lump-sum payday which totaled $828,000. He has said he plans to use the money to invest in a house for him and his family. Related links:
