Jim Carrey leaves a huge tip for waitress, is basically the best customer ever

You'd like to think that all outrageously wealthy movie stars leave outrageously generous tips, but it probably isn't the case.

Jim Carrey is very much in the good guy camp here, though. The actor reportedly left his server a whopping $225 (£158) tip on a $151 bill after a recent meal in New York. Now, we know Americans tend to tip big, but that's quite a bit more than the 20 per cent standard. In fact, you don't need to be a whizz kid mathematician to know that it's well over 100 per cent. Yeah he's loaded and everything, but that's making somebody's night. According to a source of Page Six, the Ace Ventura star ordered a sparkling water, ­pinot noir, lemon chicken and a quinoa dish at a restaurant in the Meatpacking District. The same source reportedly said "everyone seemed to be in good mood". We can only imagine the mood we'd be in after receiving that little bonus at the end of a shift.
