With all the doom and gloom going on in the world we can't even take solace treating ourselves to chocolate.
New reports suggest that our favourite chocolate bars, such as Dairy Milk and Mars are set to get 20% smaller.
This is to tackle obesity in the UK and adhere to recommended allowance of sugar by Public Health England, according to the Sunday Times.
Chocolate makers say this is the only way to reduce sugar in their products, as replacing sugar with artificial sweeteners would negatively alter the taste and could even cause a laxative effect.
There is no word yet on whether the cut in size with come with a cheaper price, but we're guessing it's unlikely.
Maybe start stocking up on our 'fuller' sized chocolate bars as a precautionary measure...
