Flight attendants use this secret code to talk about attractive passengers

Have you heard them say this?

It turns out flight attendants have a very sneaky way of talking to each other about passengers, especially when it comes to those they find attractive. They use the seat number and a comment about travelling to make reference to them. It goes a little like this. If they want to chat about someone who is in sitting in 7A, they will say something along the lines of, "I could do seven days in America!" We're sure you've worked this out, but it's 'Seven' for the 7, and America for 'A'. This new nugget of information has come from a former flight attendant who joined Kyle & Jackie O on their Australian radio show to give an insight into the life of a flight attendant. He said:

"Obviously when we are in the cabin and we are doing the drinks we can't just be like 'Oh doll check him out. You have to be subtle about it. Because everyone knows their seat numbers, so we’re on the cart and he’ll be like, 'I’m thinking of doing seven days in America… being 'seat 7A'. And I’ll be like, 'yeah, I could do seven days in America!'"

In reverse, there's also a way to tell if they don't like you. If you ask them for something, they'll respond, "I'll be right back", when they have absolutely no intention of following through with this. Look out for this next time you're on a flight.
