Billie Eilish confused after reaction to her coming out

'I thought it was obvious'

Speaking openly, Eilish said: "I've never really felt like I could relate to girls very well. I love them so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real."

Eilish went onto say that she's physically attracted to women but is "so intimidated by them and their beauty and presence".

The news came as a shock to some as Eilish has only ever been linked to men in the past.

Eilish was most recently involved with Neighbourhood singer, Jesse Rutherford, who is 11 years her senior.

While Eilish confirmed recently that they had broken up, she didn't give any reason why.

After confessing she's into girls, Eilish was shocked by her fan's confusion, saying: "I kind of thought, wasn't it obvious? I didn't realize people didn't know."

There have been numerous reports of Eilish "coming out", but Eilish isn't too keen on this terminology, saying: "I don't really believe in it. I'm just like, why can't we just exist? I've been this for a long time and I just didn't talk about it."
