The tablet's screen apparently has a tendency to go black for no reason, and users have been letting Apple know about the issue.
But the solution that's being offered is probably one you've already tried - simply turning it off and on again.
Apple claims in an official post to be investigating the issue.
Fans will hope that a more concrete solution emerges sooner rather than later.
