72 new emojis are on the way including ‘selfie’, ‘facepalm’ and ‘bacon’

Your days of spelling out bacon in text messages will soon be over, as you'll now be able to show what you mean by way of emoji.

There are 72 new emojis on the way, and some of them are long overdue. Included in the latest editions are a green sick face emoji, a Pinocchio-inspired emoji, and a facepalm one too. According to The Mirror, the Unicode Consortium has approved the new batch of emojis which are due to be released later this month.
