'I walk into the house and it’s empty, it’s a horrible feeling'
Raymond is one of over a million elderly people in Britain who feel lonely at Christmas. Since his wife passed away, Raymond felt increasingly lonely, but the bond he shares with his dogs keeps his life filled with love.
He takes them for walks twice a day in his local park, and is jumped on by them every time he opens the door to his home.
Raymond also finds companionship in the form of MeetUpMondays, a program launched to bring people suffering from loneliness together in a comfortable setting.
